Delete Your GrailScout Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your GrailScout account and associated data.
If you have a GrailScout account and would like it deleted, please email us at: [email protected]
To help us verify and process your request, please send the request from the email address connected to your GrailScout account.
What to Include
Please include the following in your email:
- Subject: Delete My GrailScout Account
- The email address connected to your GrailScout account
- A short statement confirming that you want your GrailScout account deleted
Example:
Please delete my GrailScout account and associated data connected to this email address.
What Will Be Deleted
When we process your request, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize account information and user-created data associated with your GrailScout account, which may include:
- account information
- Vault items
- Grails or wishlist items
- Hunting Grounds or saved locations
- item notes
- target prices
- condition information
- estimated value history
- saved images or image references, where supported
- app settings and preferences associated with your account
What May Be Retained
Some information may be retained when necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, backup, dispute resolution, accounting, compliance, or operational reasons.
We may also retain aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.
Backup copies may take additional time to expire or be removed from backup systems.
Processing Time
We will review and process deletion requests within a reasonable time after verifying the request.
In most cases, we aim to process account deletion requests within 30 days.
Important Notes
Deleting the GrailScout app from your device may remove local app data, but it may not automatically delete account data stored on GrailScout’s systems.
If GrailScout provides an account-deletion option inside the app, you may also use that option to request or initiate deletion.
Once your account is deleted, you may lose access to your saved collection data, Grails, Hunting Grounds, notes, images, and related app information. Deleted data may not be recoverable.
